If it only does it when the car is warm than it sounds like our water pump is out. the usual aren't expensive but kind of a pain on front wheel drive cars.

make sure that you have coolant in the system, not just in the plastic container, but the radiator and engine.

Ac goes from cold to warm shut off the ignition and it works again for awhiile then goes warm again

How long does it run for before going warm?
What is the outside air temp?
Does it do the same thing whilst parked?
Does it ever cut back in on it's own [wait a few mins] or do you always have to turn the ignition off?

Some possibilities:
The over-pressure cutout is operating.
Can be caused by the condensor [in front of the radiator] becoming blocked up with to much rubbish restricting air flow, or the a/c auxillary fan [usually in front of the condensor] is not cutting in which could be a bad motor or refrigerant pressure switch is not operating.

Another is that there's a refrig, gas leak and enough gas has escaped so as to cause the low pressure switch to stop the compressor.
When the a/c is first turned on, there is enough pressure for the compressor to run, but as it runs, the low side goes too low and cuts out the compressor.

Where is the gas sensor on a 98 dodge durango? my durango semi starts, but no gas goes to the motor.... its my first time after a car wreck.... and if theres a trick to make it start....or is it a sensor...

Ok so there is residual pressure in the pump to give to crank but no run.
Pump is your problem. The fuel pump has to prime the injectors ( residual pressure) and then continune to supply fuel to run the vehicle( Pump Pressure) .Pressure regulator increases or decreases pressure depending upon the load and temp conditions. The only this that is missing is the relay, but thats not your problem cause if it was the vehicle would not crank.

When you give it gas the temp. meter rises and then it cuts off

Check the head gaskets -- it sounds like they are leaking.

Car starts but stalls and cuts out what is wrong. the car will start but runs rough and when you try to give it the gas it will die.

if your check eng light is on get it scaned to see why .if not you could need a good tune up or have weak fule presure or a pluged converter

Compressor will not turn off but cannot find the location of the low pressure switch to change it. blows cold but will not cycle off...

there is a thermistor switch located in evaporator case(thin black single or 2 wires) that makes the compressor cut in and out (cycle) it monitors evaporator temperature.
check head pressures with air cond charging station or gauge set and monitor pressure on high and low side (150-200kpa on low, 1500-1800kpa on high good average depending on ambient temp) if it is low on gas due to leak this can also keep compressor running longer due to evaporator temp not reaching lowest threshhold to cut compressor out

My car cuts off when I start it up and the only way its stays on if I give a little gas. I have replace the fuel pump twice.

it may need a tps {throttle positon sensor} switch.or the idle air control maybe gummed up or inopertive! this is just a guess!
