Question about 1992 Chevrolet C1500
This truck belonged to my deceased father and was well maintained. It has only 110,000 miles on it. While idling, it has a definite miss and runs rough until you reach a high speed of 55 - 60. Then it levels out and runs fine. It does not knock and even drink excessive gas while running. I have replaced spark plugs, plug wires (expensive wires and yes they are all correctly going to the right place). I have replaced the distributor cap. I've had every kind of advice from valve job to timing chain, etc. The last mechanic said it did not have enough miles on it to merit a valve job! Anyone else have this problem? Please help.
Its not that i' m with the mechanic, but he is right .As you say you have repaired all the possible problem of the car. It is very much important for a certain vehicle to reach its mark or the miles on it to merit a valve. because the strength of the car relays on it. you have road test it again until it reach its miles on to merit a valve.
