I tried to remove it and couldnt. I took the two long screws out of the fuse block and then relized it would not come apart so I looked under the hood and I thought that the black looking thing would pull apart from the fuse block but it didnt so if you could kinda give me a little more info on removing it that would really help me thanks

The plastic panel under the fuses and relays can be removed (all components removed). Pull the negative battery terminal connection first.

I did this on a '96 Dodge caravan in the late '90s. It isn't a recognized service procedure, so it was peck with it until the method appeared. As I recall, the long sides of the fuse box spread apart to release the panel. I may have been looking for a similar problem, but different circuit. Seems like it didn't matter anyway as the problem was somewhere else. Don't know if this helps. You might look for the flasher unit under the dash

Left rear light won't work using turn or brake, running light good

You can purchase a haynes or chiltons guide those will have that information and more. Have you replaced all of the bulbs within that light? sometimes one bad light can make them all not work right.
Thanks,
Lee

2000 towncar signals stopped working?

There should be a turn signal fuse in the fuse box inside the car, and there is a flasher for the hazards and one for the turn signals.
Check your owners manual for more info.

I'm not seeing any model or year, so we'll go to basics. I would start by pulling the light socket completely out of the housing, inspect wires going into it on back side, and cut them back to a good clean looking spot but not too short that it won't reach back to housing, and replace the entire socket, then try a good bulb. Wires and/or contacts are likely melted together in there and should be changed before digging deeper in to the problem that started right there. It may be all you have to do.

Jaguar xj6 break light cancels signal

Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.

I have a 2004 Chevy TrailBlazer that just developed a problem with the left turn signal. The left turn signal indicator on the dash is blinking rapidly and the tail light turn signal is out. I change out...

The Trailblazers have a common problem with the printed circuit boards in the tail lamp housing.
Unplug the tail lamp housing at the wiring connector and test for power with a test light. ( With turn signals on) You may have an open circuit in the lamp housing circuit board. Good luck

Chevy S-10 1999, Left rear turn signal is not working

With a test light or better yet a digital multimeter, must check and see if current is reaching the conductive points on the inside of the lamp holder. Most faults are due to oxidation or broken wire(s).

No brake lights or turn signals on 2008 F450

try checking all of your fuses and see which ones are blown. you have two sets of fuses and they are under the hood of the vehicle and under the dash on the driverside or in the glove box. if the don't work after changing the fuses then your wiring for the turn signals and brake lights need to be cheked from the fuse boxes to the swith for the trurn signal and to your brake lights
