Yu did not say what year, but likely you have to replace the sockets for the tail lights. The tiny springs get weak and then you get higg resistance and voltage goes up and burns the bulbs out. Look on eaby for NEW sockets. easy to change. Just remove rectangular access panels on side of inside trim panel. Disconnect wiring connector and twist out the sockets. CC.

lack of power is likely a dirty MAF sensor on air intake. Rectangular 2 x 3" with 2 screws, Remove and clean with carb cleaner and toothbrush gently to remove varnish. Disconnect battery for 2 hours. Reconnect and drive for 10 miles so coputer can relearn clean sensor. may run rough at first.

My 2005 matrix keeps blowing 15amp rear running light fuse every time light get turned on all other lights work fine.whats causing this?

fuses blow because of dead shorts or excess current draw
to blow a 15 amp fuse indicates a dead short
by disconnecting the rear lights , the problem is in something else you have replaced
could be a problem in the head light wiring

My brake lamp light keeps coming on as soon as i start my car and step on the brake the light comes and stays on i've checked all the rear lights and they all work

will be due to lack of pressure more than lack of fluid, try bleeding the brakes, the light should go away unless you have a split in one of your brake lines or your master cylinder is leaking

My power seat stopped working. But the passenger seat works fine... Also it keeps telling me key not accepted but it turns on fine. Some warning light came saying brake light failure .. Please help.

At the rear electrical center, check 30A fuse 25. Replacement should get your seat moving again. The brake light warning indicator may simply mean that a brake light is burned out. I have no thoughts regarding the key problem

The engine is shaking: sometimes lacks power, burns with a check engine light.

Go to Auto Zone and see why the check engine light is on. That will help you more than anyone on here can do.

Engine light came on wit lack of power spluttering and wgite smoke from exhaust

Dear Sir,
As you said engine light is on and misfire with white smoke, it clearly symptom of poor ignition spark may cause of any wire got disconnected or spark plug faulty.
white smoke comes only in case no spark at spark plug and un burn fuel throwing from silencer. check wire and spark plug if any issue let me know. thanks.

your power wire is grounding out some were and blowing the fuse. trace the wiring start at the rear and work forward to find a broken or pinched wire

Anyone know where the relay is for the day time headlights on a 96 sidekick are? My day lights do not come on at all. My head lights will not come on untill I pull my parking break part way on.

For the daytime running lamps crawl under the dash on the drivers side, and check the plug. It should be a black box. they have a tendance to burn one of the pins and lose contact.
If its not bad you can just clean it up so that it makes good contact again, worst case is you would have to replace the plug. sometimes the module goes to.
Note: The lights are powered “backwards” to most American made cars. The headlights are supplied power at all times and are turned on by suppling ground to the filament through the switches and relays.

I can see how a DLR controller could cause a lack of DLR, and a headlight relay could cause a lack of headlights (Both high and low but not the passing lights.)

Good luck and hope this helps. NOTE: Be sure you know what you are doing before attempting this! You could easily burn up your wiring by grounding the wrong wires!
