My 2002 MDX continues to pull strongly to the right even after a four wheel alignment and tire balancing. What should I do next?

The mechanic was from a Firestone tire company. He worked on the car for quite a few hours. Rotated tires, rechecked alighnment and test drove it many times. I also assumed that brake pad drag would have been obvious, but will get it checked out.

If you paid for a four wheel alignment. Did you ask them why it is still pulling to the right? If everything is balanced and aligned then it should not pull to the right. It sounds like they are missing something. Have you checked the tire pressure? If its not up to proper inflation or if there is enough of a difference this can cause it. Also a dragging brake caliper can cause this as well. Hope these suggestions help, let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Lee

You may want to check the tire pressure yourself as well just to make sure. Though it does sound like you have a deeper problem.
    Thank you,

Do I need a wheel alignment when changing your old rims and tires for a new ones?

No, as wheel alignment just adjusts the toe in or toe out of the rim in relation to the road. This will be the same as long as the wheels are screwed down tight.

New wheels and rims will just need balancing at first install.

Having said that, you should have wheel alignment checked each year, or if you have hit the kerb hard.

Have your tires inspected. It could have a bad tire or need your tires balanced and an alignment.

first of all take the vehicle to your nearest wheel alignment centre. do a wheel balancer and wheel alignment test. if its faulty fix it or ask the technician about the spindle and bearing conditions. if its not normal, take the car to a auto garage with alignment report. consult with them. thanks

Front tires seemed to be bent in a little causing uneven and fast ware on tires

Take it to your mechanic and ask them to check your tie rods and then an alignment.

VAN REPAIR

The most common cause is low air pressure in the right front tire. The next most common is a bad tie rod end on either the right or the left. A very bad ball joint can also cause this problem. If you can't find anything obvious the van needs the front end aligned. Many tire shops can do it and all tire shops will know someone that can do it. Part of the front end alignment is to check the condition of any and all parts that could make the vehicle pull. Check the tire first though. Good Luck!
