I put the battery on a mains charger for about 8 hours three days ago hoping to use the mower this bank holiday , i went to it about an hour ago , plugged in the mobile jump starter , which has helped get it running before , but nothing happens atall , i tried all the fuses i could see and they're fine , theres fuel in the tank but that shouldnt effect the starter from turning ,
Did you check the voltage in the battery, better yet load test the battery. I bought a battery last summer and found they only warranty them for 60 days. There are safety things which will not let the mower try to start. I changed my seat switch last summer. on mine you raise the seat and you see the switch. I can not remember if I pulled the wires off and connected them or left them separated from one another. It ran till I could order the switch. The seat switch will not let the mower even try to start. On mine the PTO has to be off. You might want to make sure the brake is on and you have it in neutral. These are a couple issues I have had.

Unfortunately the fuel pump can still be bad. The pump has a check valve on it that wears out. The pump will continue to run but, struggles to supply enough fuel to start the engine. You can buy a fuel pressure test gauge from Auto Zone or that type of auto parts store and check the pressure. You can purchase a fuel pump from them too.

What year van is this? If later model, has anyone looked at the diagnostic code(s)? Could also be the Mass Airflow Sensor...

you don't hit the alternator, you hit the starter to help is shake free because it is already going bad. take battery and alternator to parts store and have both tested. check the wires at the starter and make sure they are on SECURELY. very important SOLID CONTACT is occurring. do your lights turn on? check starter relay if the eclipse is equipped with one.

I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator and now I am hearing a vibrating noise from the fuel line under the truck. What do you think the problem is.
