Question about 2001 Chrysler Town & Country
I have a 2001 Town & Country and the passanger power window does not come up. I opened the door and I noticed that the cable wiring for the carousel of the motor is out of its carousel. The carousel cover came off and all the cable got lose. The motor works but window does not go up. How do I fix this?
You will need to replace the motor/regulator assembly. Your local parts store should carry them or order online. These should be in stock as this is a common problem. Removing the motor bolts will be a pain since they have a rubberized nut hold them in the rear. Try a vise grip on them or if all else fails pull on the motor and pop them out. The replacement assembly uses normal nuts. Pay close attention on how the old assembly bolts up (take a picture before you remove it) since you will have to move the assembly to wrestle it out of the door. Reinstall assembly and check operation before you put door panel back on.
