Still under warrantee. Better take it back to them and have it reset. You could try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes, it may reset, but if the warrantee still applies, take it to them. You might end up with more problems in the future.

AC recirculation is not working (outside temp is -37 degree centiigrade).

there is a damper that opens and closes to allow air to recirculate or come from outside. Find out where that is and check it out.

What is the red light that looks like a snowflake

The snowflake appears when the outside temperature drops to 40 degrees or below, it then changes to red when it is 32 degrees and below. It seems the manufacturer thinks this will assist you with your driving habits on frozen roadways.

I have a 2007 VW Jetta 2.5 Sedan, I do not have owners manual. What does it mean when a snowflake appears on the instrument panel and 37degrees but the outside temp. is not necessarily 37 degrees?

It means that tha car registrated temperature witch is near water freezing and it's warning you that it could be some ice on the road. It's just one of the VW safety wornings to be more careful when driving in that conditions.

Could be a thermostat issue?

Could be a faulty thermostat. Take a piece of cardbourd and cut it so you can put it in front of the radiator and fix it so it will stay there. Drive the car and watch your temperature gauge to see if it warms up faster but be careful as to not let it overheat. If it starts to heat up cut a 1/4 of the cardboard so a little more of the radiator shows then watch the temperature gauge. Leave it there for the winter then take it out. That is the cheapest remedy when it is cold. I take it when your heater blows it is not not every warm is that correct?

The car says (ice possible )what does that mean

It says "ice possible" when the outside temp reads 32degrees or under. Its basically just a warning that its most liekly nasty out.

All the windows in my vehicle will not open. This

u have a problem with the BCM, (body control module), you will need to have the dealer scan the module for the fault, you can't just replace it because it must be programmed to your car built in security system and whatever accessories u have, also the temp gauge is ok as long as it updatede to within 2 degrees of outside temp.

Temperature control sensor?

Sounds like a loose connection -38 is probably the open circuit position. Not sure where the sensor would be though.

Need to know coolant temp operating range for 1988 Seville

Entirely possible and in range. Depends on outside temps and type of driving. The radiator is colled by electric cooling fans, controlled by temp sensors. Fans should come on automatically when a/c is turned on
