Question about 1990 Honda CRX
Where is the dipstick on a 1990 honda crx si, 1.6 transmission?
No dipstick...you verify by havin car first on level ground then. Then when on stable ground remove the 17mm filler plug on upper passenger side of transmission.if fliud flows out of filler plug than level is fine.if does not flow out whenplug removed.RECOMMEND STRONGLY using a honda brand manual transmission fluid in this transmission..it does wonders for shifting or gearing issues.

There is none since its a manual. If youre planning on flushing it, use 2 quarts of 10w30 oil in it.

THERE IS NO DIPSTCK FOR THAT MODEL,IT ONLY HAS A FILL PLUG LOCATED ON THE TRANS NEAR THE INNER AXLE SHAFT A 17MM WRENCH IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE FILL PLUG, THE MANUAL TRANSOIL SHOULD BE LEVEL WITH THE FILL HOLE WHEN IT IS FULL.
