You have a short to ground on one of these circuit's - ignition control module , ignition coil , crankshaft position sensor , VCM - vehicle control module , fuel injectors , camshaft position sensor . The fuse supply's B+ to all of these . Disconnect one at a time till fuse no longer blows . You can check this out for yourself here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size. Under systen click on electrical distribution ,then under subsystem click fuse panel . Click the search button then the second blue link . Scroll down to fuse discription .

Reverse and interior lights out, chevy express van

Fuse block under the hood. Driver's side, under the brake master cylinder. Number 18. TCB#2. Replace the fuse.

There is an under-engineered ground in the reverse circuit. If you back up with the dome lights on, it could blow that fuse. There should be some extra fuses under the cover of the fuse block.

My chevy express van blows the engine fuse once you try to start

you may want to check out the wiring of the starter and the ignition system if there are some open wires which may cause a short...  if the fuse that blows up if for the ECU, you may check out the main wiring that goes to the ECU if there are open wires which may cause the short.
