I have a Renault master van and the side door will not close I cannot get the door to close any ideas ?

Hi

Sounds very much like a loose, or split pulley drive belt.

Open the bonnet and check, I am pretty sure this is where the problem lies.

You just need a new belt !

It sounds as though one of the proximity sensors is faulty. Also try giving the tracks for the door a good shot of white spray lithium grease. The door may be binding enough so that the emergency reverse is kicking in.

most likey the rod that go's from the door handle to the door latch came off and/or out of adjustment. you do have to take off you door panel to see it. If it isn't rod then your door handle is broken. if you need any more help please let me know
