Should be on the rear speaker cover, look into the boot under that cover u will find the nuts to attack the bolt, but if your car is hatchback, look at the rearof the spare tyre cover

Add on the Park Distance Control

Spent last weekend installing one, I can comment on installation. First, the car is not at all "pre-wired" for the PDC. The installation involves the following: 1. Removing the rear bumper completely (not just the black rub strip) 2. Running a wiring harness thru the bumper. 3. Removing and replacing the rub strip with one designed to accomodate the ultrasonic sensors. 4. Drilling a 40 mm (about 1 1/2 in.) diameter hole below the right rear tail light to pass the wiring harness thru (a very scarey operation, for me, at least. Like performing surgery on your baby!). 5. Removing the rear package shelf (which means removing the rear seats, head restraints, C pillar panels, child seat tethers, etc.) 6. Installing a small speaker next to the brake light on the rear panel. 7. Running a second wiring harness from the trunk into the passenger compartment and along the rear window to connect to the speaker. 8. Tapping into the fuse block above the battery. 9. Running the power harness across the back of the trunk to the left side of the car to tap into the I-bus wiring. 10. Mounting the PDC control unit above the battery. 11. Re-assembling everything. Given the somewhat cryptic instructions, and the fact that the actual wiring did not match what was described in the instructions, it is a pretty time-consuming project. Concerning whether it is any different from the factory installed version: I haven't seen the factory installed one, but my guess is that they are pretty much the same.

To whom it may concern, I'm struggling to install

The Tethers are on the rear deck at the top

You have to pull the seat belts out a way as
you said & then when you get them through
or around the seat, however they go,you snap
back & forth till they lock. The same thing
you do while in the drivers seat with your seat belt.

When done the child seat is kind of sloppy
in my opinion. Not really secured down tight

I would suggest you get help from an experienced
person that has kids & those seats to install

To whom it may concern, I'm struggling to install our infant car seat in our Chrysler 300M, 2001. The base comes with hooks to attach to tethers or latches which should exist by the seat belt...

I would take the vehicle to a place where they install infant seats, because you can't put a price on a childs life.....hope this helps......cheers.

We just bought a 1999 ford explorer eddie bauer edition and i want to put a child car seat in middle section of the back seat, but i cant find the tether ring to attached the seat to. Where is it located,...

Child seat tethers didn't start coming into play until around 2002-2003, however there are anchor kits available for about $50 from Ford Dealerships. When you call to talk to the dealer about availability, start with the service department. They can can check you Vehicle Identification Number (which is on your insurance or registration), and you may be eligible to have them installed under Ford warranty, even after 11 years!

1995 Honda Accord Car seat install problem

I can't be of much help, except to indicate what Honda says about the seats, and to give you a URL to look at:
Using a Seat Belt Locking Clip
Always use a seat belt locking clip when you secure a child seat to your car with a lap/shoulder belt. This helps prevent the seat from shifting position or overturning. A locking clip is usually included with the child seat. If you need a clip, contact the seat's manufacturer or a store that sells child restraints.
The URL will take you to a more complete reference to your car manual regarding child restraints.
Hope this helps you.

How do i install a car seat

Unhook any wiring harness from under the seat that is attached to the seat. bolts for the seat are accessed from underneath the vehicle. use some wd 40 on the bolts to make them easier to remove tho you may break some of the bolts. if so drill out the old ones (if you are reusing the old seat) and use ones that are the proper grade.

Child seat

some cars have them preinstalled some don't.... your manual will mention it if they are there... another way is to climb in the trunk and look up at the bottom of the back deck. even easier if you have fold down seats. most automotive parts stores or even hardware stores will have the hook you need for the seat. even take the seat with you so that you do get the correct one.
