head lights come on when any door is opened and remain on when for a few minutes the van is exited.
During driving I have no full beam and no high speed wipers.
I have had the column on the steering shaft replaced and this did not rectify the issue

Check both sides of the discs if they are ok.If yes then quite possible that there is lots of brake dust between the discs and pads.

A siezed brake caliper could cause the noise and shuddering.

How to remove the lens housing unit on a rear peugeot van ?

Can you get to the bulb from inside the van? You may not need to remove the whole assembly. The lens can't be removed by itself - it's part of a complete assembly - housing and lens in one unit.

Peugeot partner

Its possible they don't like working on drum brakes, if my car made that sound, I would have my brakes replaced without any inspection. Slight chance of a bad wheel bearing, but they usually make a growling sound kinda like the roar of a biplane. Guess its possible your backing plate for the brakes could be bent, rubbing the drum.

Fitting trailer wiring to peugeot partner van. need to know van wiring colours, dont match trailers wiring colours

Hello, if you have a test light handy with a sharp tip on one side than, start with your parking lights on and check to see which wire it is, if you have a heavy bag of potatoes or similar, you can use this when it comes to the brake lights :)
