Has Peugeot 206 2004 16 v got a fuel cut off valve .

Try blocking off the EGR at the throttle valve. A piece off cut up coke can works best. Your EGR could be stuck open

i assume you mean the manual prime pump located on injector pump . well this can be a few things , ck these items, fuel filter , fuel lift pump , fuel stop valve and wiring

the injection pump is located on the front of the engine
you might want to check the fuel cut off valve on the n/s of the engine bay
or maybe check the diesel valve in the pump

In my opinion cut off problem occurs if engine is not getting sufficient fuel and/or air. Clean the air filter, turbo filter and fuel filter. Check the continuity of diesel flow from filter to hdi pump. If you haven't found any problem there then the possibily the hdi pump and injectors section needs to be checked. If the car has done more than 100000 miles then clean inlet and outlet manifolds including check of turbo and EGR valve. Do everything whatever possible before you take your car to garage. If there is no luck then let your car diagnosed and check any error code recorded by ecu.

i thought the cut off valve is in one of the door pannals

put the car on an oscilloscope and check what is happening,check cranksensor,injectors,fuel pump supply,coil packs you will then see what you are loosing if its power(electrical)or a fuel problem put a fuel pressure gauge on it and road test it you will then see whats happening.........oscilloscopes dont tell lies.....

check return valve...fuel pressure ok. fuel excess is the matter.
