Hi there, ya that sounds like your fan stopped working. There is a few different things you can check. The fuse for the fans The relay that controls the fans, and the fans themselves. You really should get that checked out, eventually your engine will start to overheat which can lead to major damage. If you dont feel up to do the job yourself any compitant auto shop can check it out for you. Hope that is helpfull.

We have replaced the water pump, theromstat and temp sencer, still pushes red line when stopped in traffic.

do you have a electric fan on your vehicle, if so, check the fan relay , located in the power distribution box, under the hood , on the drivers side. "if you do not have a electric fan, check the fan clutch , located between fan blade and water pump.

My 95 Caprice is starting to idle frequently. For ex. I'm at a red light with my foot on the brakes and it feel like it wants to take off and cut off. Another problem is if I'm at a drive thru restaurant...

The Idle Problem, sounds Like the MAP sencer
I think It's located On the passinger side
of engine near the distributer. It as a wire
and a vacvmn hose.I''s small About 1'1/2 wide
and 3' long.Your, Overheating problem is probley
The cooling fans are not working. They are electric
and work off the temp sender switch in the cyl head.
Or the fan motors are broken.Turn the on A/C and the left fan should start working.. If it starts working it's Probley the temp scencer
.

1988 Audi 80 cooling fan does not start(overheating)

You won't know which until you check. Unlikely the wires. Fuse or sencer most likely. Check the large fuses first. If it is the fuse then check the wires as somthing the matter with them or the fan itself. Turn the fan with your hand (with engine turned off.) it should turn freely. If all this is ok then you need a senser.
