You need to find out which evap control solinoid is not working the best way is to take it to a shop and have them run a smoke test through the system todetermine which valve or valves are inop,or if there is a break in the hoses.

2001 Ford F-150. How to replace the EVAP on it. I have DTC Code P1451.

Question edited for clarity, 'evac' to 'EVAP' and toss in some CAPS.
Question moved to model category.

Better to test it than just replace. $30 on Amazon, $90 at Autozone.

The P1451 code indicates that there's an issue with your vehicle's EVAP systems vent solenoid. The engine control module (ECM) looks for a change in the EVAP system pressures to validate that the EVAP vent solenoid has actually opened or closed the vent.

Whats this code mean on 99 f150 P1451

It means the circuit is malfunctioning.
You need to perform the basic checks of the associated wiring and connectors. There could be a short or open circuit, or a bad connection, or a bad vent solenoid. You need to test the circuit to find out where the problem lies.

Easy fix
Most likely the Solenoid Operated
Vent Valve on the EVAP Canister

You could do yourself,I don't know if

Your best to go to a local repair shop
so they can use a scan tool, smoke
