Just had motor & transmission mounts replaced, oil change, and water pump belt replaced. Could lifting the engine cause these problems? Car has never done this before.
The short answer is maybe - if it was not lifted exactly according to the service manual procedures, a number of things could be damaged (in particular one of the brake lines on the driver's side of the engine!). Also, while you had it up, you should have had the engine frame bushings checked for problems - they are very prone to rust in older vehicles and deteriorated bushings can cause all kinds of alignment and stability problems.
In any case, there are several cables connecting sensors and controls in the transmission with the engine computer - I would very carefully check these cables at the transmission (especially the one to the speed sensor) for damage.
Testimonial: "Your reply was helpful and in fact my car started not shifting into gear. I ask the shop to recheck my caddy. They fixed the problems, said it was wiring that got on muffler and melted. (it had to be the sensor, you were correct) Its running ok, problems solved and work was done at no charge. (thank heaven cause I had just spent $1009. at this shop) Thank you again for your help and advice."

Check for vacuum leaks around the intake. This is the most common cause for these codes.

This can be a major operation. Go to public library and see if they have a chilton repair book on this car. The pump has about twenty bolts af various sizes and torx head bolts.
