Question about BMW 325

1 Answer

I have a 2003 BMW 325i and the window won't go up, even though the motor is working. It sounds like gears are garbled. So, I bought a window regulator and my repairman said it would be simple to do. Is there a diagram that I can download & maybe even instructions?

It's unkiely that all the door actuators are bad. The problem sounds like a voltage loss to the circuit. Check the fuses for the door locks.

Go to a nearest garage and have check the window regulator, sounds like the gear mechanism have been nicked and releasing the window in heavy vibration.
Hope that helps!

Hi , this sound like the window lifter has broken , it is quite simple to replace , if you car is a salloon you can replace this with no special tools , however if you have a convertable or a coupe you nead the special tool to be able to adjust the window glass after the lifter has been replaced . hope this helps , regards mark .
