SOURCE: tag light replacement

There are 2 screws securing the plastic cover right above the tag on the bumper. Twist them open and replace the two bulbs inside. You may need to use liquid wrench to break the rust on the screws.

SOURCE: How do I change the

Hi,

Generic procedure is :-

1. Put the screwdriver into the only opening in the plastic holder ( which on rear tag light is on both of them located medially- towards the center not away from the center ).

2. Gently pull the screwdriver laterally ( away from the center ) and the whole thing will come out.

3. With your fingers gently turn the cap and pull out the light.

4. Detach the bulb and place the new one.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

You can replace the horn. Check to see if the wires connected to the horn have power. Check with a test light. If power is present then the horns are bad.

Both low beam lights dont work on my 2005 Toyota Corolla.; but my high beam lights do. I have already checked the fuses. Fuses okay. Is this a switch problem or should I check the bulbs first.

CHECK THE BULBS FIRST! TRY REPLACING WITH A NEA ONE ON ONE SIDE, AND TURN LIGHTS ON, IF YOUR LOW BEAM LITES UP, REPLACE THE OTHER ONE! IF NOT THERE COULD BE A WIRING PROBLEM TO THE LOW BEAMS

2005 Toyota Corolla problem. My Corolla buzzer comes on when my driver door opens. Also the lights are still on and wont turn off.

the buzzer is coming on because the lights are still on. the car is warning you of this. lights staying on may be a bad sensor or bad light switch.

Hook up horn in 2005 corolla - metal tag broke off

It will need to be replaced, then, unless you can weld or solder the tab back on. the two leads going to the horn are +12VDC and ground. They are both necessary.

Hope this helps a little, at least.
