Look on the wall behind the engine, its on the passenger side, but almost in the middle. I have a 92 diamante myself and it took me a bit to find it.

Wow I looked through all the books I have and I cannot find where there is a fuel filter on this car. You don't have the owners manual for this car? I can find all the service points for this car when you service it but nothing about fuel filter. You might start from the tank and see if it under the drivers side of the car inside of the frame about where you get in your side when you drive.

On a 96 2.5 v6 the filter sits under the pass-side rear in front of the rear tire under the car. very close to fuel tank. it has a 14mm bolt and a speed clip. change mine this week.

It is located on the left frame rail in front of left rear tire.It has a plastic clip in each fuel line that will be white in color.Remove the clip then disconnect fuel line.Make sure to replace the clips,DO NOT reuse the old ones. Install the new clips into the connector then snap the connectors on to the filter.

Inside the frame rail on the driver's side. You'll need a 5/16" (8mm) socket if it is the type that is held in with a hose clamp, or a 10mm if it is the bracket type. Some of the lines are held in with white plastic clips, others by special springs. If it is the type without clips, you'll need a special tool to release them. Also, if it is the type without the plastic clips, make sure they gave you the right filter. If the new filter is shorter than the old DO NOT PUT IT ON. If you do, you will have to cut it off next time you have to change it as the tool will not fit in. The two filters look the same except the tubes are longer on the non-clip filter.

it should be under the car close to the driver side door. if you can't see it trace it from the fuel tank it should be attached to the fuel line. if you have the repolacement in your hand you will know what you're looking for
