Question about 1998 Dodge Durango
I checked all of my turn signal bulbs and they are working. I checked my turn signal fuse and it's fine. When I signal a turn left or right, my turn signal light just stays on. Even when I turn on my hazard lights all of the lights come on but do not blink.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

replace the turn signal switch it self, mine did the same thing with the left turn signal, put in fuse and it will continue to flash... went to junk yard pulled one out of a 97 avenger just like mine, swapped them out and now it works fine. looked to be like some corrosion... to repace: 3 screws under columb, 2 screws on side of signal switch (black plastic side). unplug and replace

Can you just check to make sure the ignition key switch is not staying over to far and not backing off when you try to start it. I had a truck that did that and it messed up my turn signals until I brought the key switch back a little after starting it. Just a simple idea. Be kind with your rating for me. Raz

I had this problem and fixed it easily. It sounds like the turn signal mechanism is broken. Fortunately, the turn signal/headlight lever is a distinct separate unit that can easily be removed from the steering wheel assembly, remove 2 screws and the 2 eclictral plugs and it comes right off. Then get a new one at autostore for ~$80 or pull one off any 2g eclipse at the salvage yard for cheaper, better option and you should be back to signaling your intended turning direction in no time.

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!
