I have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited and when i turn my air on one of the pulleys hangs up and sticks making a loud squealing noise. what is this part call and how easy is it to fix.

More than likely your air conditioning compressor has tied up. Not terribly difficult to change, however you need to have your freon removed, and them replaced after the repair.

1993 Jeep Cherokee: hissing/weak brakes

If you are talking about when you push the pedal you hear an air noise and the pedal is real hard to push then you most likely have a bad power booster. If your pedal is weak and goes low to the ground you most likely have a bad master cylider as well. Best to just change both. For that year model shouldnt cost much and not hard to install.
