I would think a dist. cap and a rotor button. By what you describe, the fire is getting to the distributor but not going to the plug wires.

1993 Dodge Spirit. Will start run till warmed up then quits. Unable to start again until it cools down. Then does the same thing What is the problem> Have replaced the fuel pump, injector, computer box,...

Hello thomas, next time it dies & fails to start, check to see if it's getting spark to the plugs. If no spark, the ignition module, sometimes called the pickup, could be breaking down when hot....Also a faulty ignition coil will cause the same conditions...Check the EGR, & the EGR pipe, make sure it not's clogged with carbon.... Cat converter and exhaust for excessive back pressure.

I hope this helps.

1984 dodge van has power to the coil but not from the distributer, and it doesnt start. van ran fine until the positive post came off while driving down the road, it just died and hasnt fired back up...

Does the coil produce voltage? I know it has power to it, but is it throwing voltage? if so check the coil wire at the distributor. if power is reaching the distributor but not throwing spark from any plug wires, your problem is a bad rotor and or cap. Or bad wires.

Gets warm, dies and won't start

This is most likley not an issue of fuel. this sounds like an ignition module issue. These are all signs of a failing ignition module. On engines with no distributer it will be located under the coils. On engines with distributers it is located on bottom or in bottom of distributer.good luck.
