Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

I suggest that you use the Mobil 1(10w-30) oil. Its the best out there. I hope this helps.

Have a nice day.

SOURCE: oil type

It depends on the climate where you are operating the car. If you are somewhere that has an average temp of 0 - 60 degrees F. then use SAE 10W30. If the average temp in your locale is 10 - 100 degrees F. , then use SAE 10W40 or 10W50. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Hi !! I have a problem with my 2004 Ford Mustang. I was changing the spark plugs and acidentally oil whent down in the cylinder. What can I do to fix that problem ?

Leave plug out and spin the engine over it may start but just turn off. All oil will shoot out put a rag over plug hole. You will be in great shape oil won't hurt the cylinder. dONT put plug in or you could hydro lock the cylinder and break the connecting rod

Poured oil into power steering for 66 mustang. It normally uses F type transmission oil. Do I need to drain it? Will it damage power steering

Thankfully it wouldn't damage anything. However it is a messy job to drain the fluid back out. Either a shop can do it for you, or you can simply remove the return line and place it into a bucket. Turn it by hand to get most of the fluids out. Replace with cheap Type F, since you'll probably have to do it a few times to completely replace the fluid. Make sure its all red (Type F) or clear (Powersteering fluid). Good Luck

Refill gear oil in rear differential on 2003 ford mustang gt

The differential will have a plug in the driver's side of the housing that is removed with a 3/8" drive ratchet or square drive. Be sure you know what type of fluid is recommended for your vehicle. It will depend on whether it is a locking differential or standard.

Engine

if it's coming from the engine then the oil pump might not be getting any oil to lube the bearings or anything that needs the oil. In that case it could have actually messed up the bearings. Or a rod could be knocking. And one more thing is that the rocker arms may need to be tightend down.
