Chanses are that little hole will turn into a big hole its only a matter of time, its not that hard, don't be inteminated by it, even if you have never done one before. Chk. the carpet on the pasengers side floor see if its wet, anyhow if you can smell antifreeze thats what it is heater core.

Why do I smell antifreeze when my vehicle is running?

Because you have a coolant leak. You need to pressure test the cooling system to see where the coolant is leaking. You could try checking it without pressure testing it.You might be able to see where it is leaking.Just look under the hood and under the front of the vehicle.Hope this helps.Good luck.

My heater is not working.

You need to check your Heater core, It may still flow but if it pluged up inside it will not work right (little heat) If you smell antifreeze inside your car it's a sign it could be whats wrong.

My truck has a smell of antifreeze inside. The cooling fluid level has not dropped at all. Can't find any leaks on floor board and windows are not steaming up.any ideas

Even though you do not feel antifreeze on the rugs. The only way
the smell of Anti freeze can get in the cab is, It's leaking from the heater core.
Maybe not enough to see a leak on the floor.
However, the heater core is inclosed, plus antifreeze will not
dry. it can sit at the bottom of the heater box, for a long time.
And the smell can stay in there for a long, long time.

Antifreeze smell and smoke coming out of vents

You have a coolant leak most likely in the heater core. Try disconnecting your heater hoses and coupling them together, then running the engine to see if the leak goes away. If it does, I would have the heater core replaced.

the small radiator just inside the cab, where the hoses go to the heater is leaking. You may try using stop leak (many don't recommend this) or take off the heater radiator. it will probably get worse when you turn on the heater and fog up the windshield if not fixed. hope this helps.
