This is a time consuming repair. If you have a DC amp meter or use a 12 VDC test light disconnect neg cable on battery insert meter in series and observe either the light being lit even if dim or he current number. Now start under dash and remove fused 1 at a time and check meter/light/ If current is still flowing replace fuse and repeat until current dips off or light goes out . this will tell you what circuit to check. If no change start under hood fuses and relay box and repeat.

you have something thats staying on with power when you shut the car off,first check all lights glove apartment,underhood,in trunk ,just because ther closed doesnt mean the light is off,check your car at night it might help to see the lights,if not another way is to take a multi meter to the battery and while some holds the meter pull out fuses in your fus box one at a time to see when the meter makes a change,this will help you to narrow down whats staying on and draining the power from the battery,if this helps please give me a fix ya vote

it sounds like that, if after installing the battery, it ran and started good, then this tells me it run until it drained the battery, so this tells me theres a charging problem, make sure the belt is on and then take a good look at the alternator and battery connections,then check the alternator output to see if its charging, it should put out 13.5 to 14.5 volts with engine running, if it doesnt then replace battery,you can also check for power at the alternator and other tests but i dont want to confuse you, a good thing to do is when removed just to double check have the parts store test it for you, it sounds like a bad alternator, hope this is helpful, good luck.

Usually this happens when you have a drain on the battery somewhere. i would check the car over really good to make sure there is nothing running after you shut it off. Listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump running or anything that may draw on the battery. This kind of drain is extremely difficult to trace.
