Yes, you should be able to add it thru the level check plug, which I believe is removed with a 1/2 inch drive extension that should fit in the plug, and just loosen and remove. To be at the correct level, the gear oil should just start to flow out of the plug hole. And of course, for an accuracy, do this on a level surface.

Where do you add the rear end fluid to a 2001 gmc Jimmy

On the Differential look at the rear of the Differential near the top and you will see a plug. You remove the plug and check the level by putting your finger into the hole. If the fluid touches the bottom of your finger it is at the proper level. If not, add fluid until it does.

How do i add differetial fluid to A 2005 GMC

There should be a filler plug on top of the diff housing, it will have a square recess that will accept a 3/8" drive extension for removal.

Trying to find out how much oil the Triton V-10 takes when I do my oil change? I cant seem to find it or anyone who knows

It should be listed in the owners manual, but because of different oil cooler setups you may have to do the change yourself and add oil until the correct level is established..... for the first oil change.
Most likely 7 liters, but start with 5,run the engine to fill the oil filter, let it sit for 5 mins and recheck and fill to full.
Note the amount needed for next time.

Rear axle leaking fluid on to brakes

The axle needs to be removed to replace the seal behind the flange.this is not expensive but requires opening the rearend cover. So you will also need a gasket for the differential and some new gearlube.

Lubricant level check, how? Rear differential case

There should be a drain plug on the bottome and an fill plug on the top. Remove the fill plug. Yeah I know this shounds weird.
You can put your finger in the hole and feel the fluid on the tip of finger If not then full up until you feel the fluid on he finger. Your owners manual also can tell the amount of fluid needed and what type. You may have to add some additive to keep the bearings and gears from damaging .
