You will need to find the little pin size hole on ignition and find thin sharp object to poke in the hole to free up the ignition. Removing top and bottom of steering column will be helpful. There is a pin hole with a pin inside, you push the pin and and turn ignition and it will come out.

The immobilizer is working then. You need to pair your key to the immobilizer or there will be no ignition. Probably only available at a main dealer.

Key broke off inside ignition need to replace

Try using a pair of thin, long-nosed hemostats if you can see the key remnant.
If you can't see the remnant, don't take the wheel off. Call a mobile locksmith; he can usually help for around 30 bucks.

Go to a Nissan dealer, or a locksmith. Take your registration with you. They can make another key from the VIN #.

2002 grand prix...key broke in ignition.

You may get it out using a pick, or a paperclip with a very small bend on the end. If you can't get it to come out from there, you may need to replace the ignition tumbler. Let me know, and I'll give you the steps if necessary.

Ingnition tumbler broke cant start

If the key won't start it; it might not be the key ignition, but rather; the ignition that has a stem that goes from the key ignition down on the steering colunm. However, you can get key ignitions for them, or buy the whole steering colum then take the key ignition out of it. But, I would suggest more information is needed before I can conclude that it is just the key ignition. Hope this help~!

Key broke off in ignition

use a toothpick with a tiny drop of super glue on the end - touch the glue end to the end in the ignition, and let it dry for a few - make sure the key is in the off position, and try to pull it out using the toothpick.
