There are many factors that may affect the quality of the plastic products in the process of plastic injection mold, and they can be summed up as follows:1. Plastic MaterialsThe complexity of plastic materials' performance determines the complexity of the injection mold process. The performance of plastic materials varies greatly due to their different varieties, grades, manufacturers or even different batches. Different performance parameters may lead to completely different moldings.2. Injection TemperatureThe melt flows into the cooled cavity and losses its heat due to heat conduction. At the same time, the melt generates heat due to shearing action, and this part of the heat may be more or less than the lost heat caused by heat conduction, which depends on the injection conditions. The viscosity of the melt becomes worse with the increasing of temperature. Injection TimeThe influences of injection time on the injection process are in three aspects:(1)When we shorten the injection time, the shear strain rate of the melt will increase, and the injection pressure which are used for filling the cavity should also be increased. (2) When we shorten the injection time, the shear strain rate of the melt will increase and the melt viscosity decreases due to the shear thinning characteristic. The injection pressure should also be decreased in order to fill the cavity.(3)When we shorten the injection time, the shear strain rate in the melt as well as the heat productivity will get higher, and meanwhile, the heat lost due to heat conduction is only a little. Thus, the higher the melt temperature is, the worse the viscosity becomes. And the injection pressure should be decreased so as to fill the cavity. As a result of the above three factors, the curve of the injection pressure which is required to fill the cavity presents in a "U" shape. That is, there exist an injection time when the required injection pressure is minimal.

1962 Corvette. Replaced voltage regulator. Temp gauge now reading hot. Temp increases with RPM increase. At idle 180. Increase RPM, and Amp 220. Heat gun true 175. Help

What is the system charging voltage? An over voltage condition could cause this. Why not just hook up an after market gauge? The factory gauge is junk and as cheap as they could make it. And yes I have owned Vett's.

Cooling system how does it operate

The cooling system in necessary to deal with waste heat produced by the internal combustion engine. Each size and type of engine and vehicle will have a unique set of parameters. Of course there is a rather small amount of radiant heat from the external components of the engine and also from the exhaust system. The most common cooling system is liquid to air. The coolant, which is moved about internally by a centrifugal pump in the engine, absorbs heat up to a predetermined point and then is able to transfer the heat out to the atmosphere via the heat exchanger. Coolant is commonly water based. Certain additives are used to both increase density and prevent galvanic action (corrosion). The thermostat is a variable orifice used to restrict the coolant flow into the heat exchanger (radiator) until a pre-set temperature is reached. At that time the thermostat starts to crack open to allow some coolant into the radiator for heat removal. If not enough heat is removed the thermostat opens wider allowing ever more heat removal at the radiator until the thermostat is wide open. This is the point where the radiator must be correctly sized to be able to dispose of all excess heat. Usually a fan is used to force air through the radiator which increases the amount of heat removed.

I have a 2005 grand prix gt temp guage reads normal and heat is on and warm when start driving heat gets colder or if i change to defrost its cold air doeasnt stay hot car doesnt over heat though changed...

The heating coil is probably getting plugged up. You may have heat at idle or slow speeds, but once you get going, there is not enough coolant going through it to stay warm. Get the system flushed or replace the heating coil.

Check coolant level. As you increase rpms, coolant circulation increases, and vise versa.

No heat at idle. good heat when rpm increased. why?

It sounds to me like your coolant level is low. By increasing the engine RPM you speed up the rate of flow by the water pump and this will send some coolant to the heater core giving you heat. Top up the overflow bottle and this should help. you may have to repeat this more than once to get it properly full. Hope this helps.

Start vechile, let it warm up, turn on heater, is there heat from the heater?
No? You need to bleed the system better. Jack the front of the car up, remove radiator cap, while throttle is increased add more coolant, then with throttle still increased put radiator cap back on and release throttle. Is there now heat?

The radiator sheds heat at a specific rate. Increasing air flow increases that rate a bit, but even with increased air flow, there is a specific rate.

When you start out, there is a "cold reservoir" in the radiator — without shedding any heat at all, for a while the cold water in the radiator will keep the engine cool.

If the heat from the engine exceeds the heat the radiator can shed, as soon as the radiator water hits the temperature of the engine, you will have overheating.

If you have a head gasket leak, you are injecting heat directly into the water, heat that ought to go out the tailpipe.

If some of the tubes in the core of the radiator are not flowing, the ability of the radiator to shed heat will be diminished.

I am thinking it is either a head gasket leak/cracked combustion chamber, or a radiator that does not flow water through all the tubes.

A lean fuel mixture will generate a lot more heat than one that is richer. The coloration of the spark plug insulators can be helpful in assessing the mixture.

When I step on the gas to increase speed there is a strange rattle coming from outside. It stops making the noise until I increase speed again.

check the exhaust pipe at the front of the engine there is a heat shield sometimes rusts at the spot weld and the shield rattles on the pipe
easy repair use a hose clamp open the hose clamp up put the clamp around the pipe reconnect the hose clamp slide it over the heat shield and tighten the clamp up
