I take it that you have replaced bulbs in both sides?? And being the middle light works there should be no blown brake light fuse. You might just double check that just in case. Also, check all flashers and relays. I hope I am not making any stupid request, but sometimes its just that simple.

Most models have the brake light power go thru the turn signal switch for the left and right sides. You may need to have someone check voltage output for the turn signal switch.

2004 trailblazer left and right brake lights are not working but the third brake light in the middle is. What could be the problem?

Could be a bad ground in the brake wiring. If you make a ground from the socket to the frame or body, see if the lights work.

Hi Rebecca, I suggest you have the connections to the right hand lamp holder checked. It seems as if the cables have been incorrectly connected at some time by someone. Regards John

So I noticed my right rear brake bulb and middle rear brake light bulbs were burnt out, so i changed both them. When i pressed the brake only the left side light up??? the right and middle brake light

The only thing I can think of is a fuse, but figured they would all be run from the same one. You might want to check it out though. If that isnt it, maybe the wiring?

Break lights are not working on my 2001 ford expedition

You need to replace your brake light switch which is located on your brake pedal. The reason that the right and left are out and the middle isn't is because there are two sides to the switch for vehicles with three brakes lights. It is a very easy part to replace and is relatively inexpensive. Change that switch out and you will be good to go. Let me know if you have any other questions.
