The only way to test this you need to remove the part that is not working and test the connector for proper voltage and ground. The information for this comes thru a computer. You really need to take this in to get it properly diagnosed.

check relay under the hood. also get a wire tester and check the wiring to theh eadlight and see if u have any juice going to it. if not then that is where your problem starts of tracing electric issue.

Kia radio no display after jump cable start - fuse not blown

Hi i had sa me issue jump started my kia rio radio display was blank. To fix open your fusebox inside the car Pull out both audio fuses your fuse puller should be in the fuse box under the hood. Yes you have two fuse boxes. One inside you car and one under the hood with your engine. wait few minutes say five... Put the fuse back in. Btw its not neccesary to pull the fuse all the way out. Your radio should show cde error... Now you will need to put in your four digit pin...gluck thanks to the guy on the internet who said pull out the memory fuse... Not that i understood till now.

After i parked my car about 4 hours later it didn't want to start so i got a jump but it didn't work i checked all the fuses and one in the high currency box was burnt so i replaced it and it burnt...

Hello, What you need to do is look at a fusebox diagram and find out what your fuse controls. The part connected to it is bad and once you change out the bad part, then you put in the new fuse.

You might get lucky with a scanner, but without your car running you can not drive to a free scan at Autozone , Oreilys, or Advance autoparts. These stores should have diagram info to help you or at least a book you can look at in the store. They have tool loaner programs.

If it is not a bad fuel pump you have Relays in the powerbox. You should have a Relay for the fuel pump and if you do not hear the pump run when you turn the keyswitch, then that is probably the Relay that burnt the fuse. Additional Relays for the Ignition and PCM are possible.

I understand that Advance can have testing equipment for the Relays, just number them and make a diagram for yourself if you pull them. I would go and talk to Advance before pulling the Relays to make sure they can test them.

I hope my solution is very helpful to you in finding the problem. You may need a multitester to trace the fuse panel to problem connection.

Check the low beam relay . Look here for location http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size. Under system click on electrical distribution , then under subsystem click on relay . Click the search button then the blue link . Look at left side near the bottom ,HEAD LP LO . Right above #5 and #4 fuse's . Do you know how to test at relay base ,that's where it plugs into. Watch this video .
