The hatchback/trunk? It has to be the latch that locks it. Make sure its not broken.

Duct work goes to crawl space. Apparently there is a flap in the duct work that constantly flaps back and forth like a loud ticking clock. How to stop it?

need to go ino crawl space and their should be a handle with a wing nut on the side of duct --the flap is an air flow reducer dont tighten with flap in closed position since it will shut air off from flap past

95yj 2.5 new IAC newTPS new TBI gasket still have ahigh idle speed 3500rpm .what to do

1- see that the throttle body flap is closed at idle, ie properly adjusted. if someone played with the adjustment then the iac will close to compensate but it won't be enough. proper adjustment for the flap is to turn the screw back until it disconnects from the flap and then turn it in 1/2 turn after it contacts the flap again.
2- pinch the vacuum booster hose while it is running; you may have a torn booster membrane.
3- stuck pcv valve- pinch off it as well and see if normal idle returns.
4- the iac is not being controlled by the computer; maybe a harness or computer problem.
expose the throttle body and with your finger close off the iac intake port; if the idle falls drastically or the vehicle stalls, then you can be sure that the problem is with the iac or its control.

The a/c in my car doesn't work

The system will need to be recharged with freon and if there is no air flow in the front then there may be a stuck vent flap that won't move or a faulty motor that moves the flap.

replace any soft hoses.
collapsed hoses cause water flow constriction
.that increases temp fast

to bleed air out of the system . if no air bleeder as such
with heater on full .-engine running
loosen the bypass pipe for the closed thermostat till only coolant flows no air bubbles
check if
the engine cooling fan spinning fast enough

How do i install mud flaps 12wx22h inches on my 2011 ram 1500 thanks in advance

That depends on the design of the mud flaps. Typically they have holes in the top for sheet metal screws. Look for any existing sheet metal screws in the fender wheel behind the wheel that match with the holes in the flaps - you can just remove those, put the mud flap up and put the screw back in if it is long enough (if the mud flap doesn't have a metal strip across the mounting edge, you'll need a large washer under the screw head to distribute stress across the material or it will crack).
If you don't have matching holes, you'll have to drill them. If you are going into steel, use a bit sized for the shank of the sheet metal screw, or just drill the screw in directly. After you get the screw in, take it out and fill the hole with rust-protecting sealant, then put the screw back in. If your mounting hole is on fiberglass or plastic, use a nut and bolt with fender washers under both the screw head and the nut. I recommend either stainless steel or cadmium plated hardware for corrosion protection; this is a harsh environment.
If you don't have a straight surface for mounting the mud flap, you may have to bend a heavy galvanized steel strap with holes in it (perhaps a pipe hanger) to make a mounting bracket. Attach one end to the vehicle as described in the previous paragraph, and attach the mud flap to it.
I would expect a new mud flap set would include the necessary hardware to adapt it to different vehicles. If you've already purchased a new set without any of this material, you can look at some of the other sets on the market for ideas on mounting brackets. The exact method you use is not critical, so long as it holds the flap without breaking anything (consider the stresses from flapping back and forth and try to envision where the greatest stresses and material fatigue would be), and is reasonably protected from corrosion.

Hi!!
The part is called Blend Door Actuator, it is located on the passenger side under dash, behind glove compartment, on the blower motor housing, is held by two or three screws and has an electrical connector plugged into it. You can get a replacement at almost any auto parts store.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.
