Gmc canyon no hot wire at my switch 2004 ????? What switch ? Heard that I should even have a constant not there also ??? You need to give some better info.

I would go with the manufacturers recommendation.

If the windows worked well before but became intermittent, I'd be checking the switches. You can also power the motors with jumpers to insure the motors work. If the brushes are worn, you can sometimes make the window work one last time by giving the door a good thump to jar the armature and possibly get better brush contact.

I would check your front drive axles. I am assuming it is 4wd. You may have an axle that the rubber boot has ripped on and got water into. Bearings and water do not mix. The axle will need replace. (Do both at the same time). Good Luck

I just heard a similar issue this week. 2003 Rav4 went more than 500 miles after an oil change. It obviously isn't the person that changed your oil last (even though some people think so). If an oil filter is loose, it won't make it 50 miles, there is too much pressure. The oil will leak out quickly. For the car to go two months is obviously not a loose filter issue. Sounds like a spike in pressure was too much for the filter to hold. Good luck

I would not mess with Oil Treatments, what you have been doing is fine. I would change the fuel filter, if it hasn't been done for a while. Also a transmission service. Check your belts and hoses.

Check for a bad relay, in fuse panel or area where you think you heard the clicking noise.

check the vehicle knock sendor, are u using the right grade of gas, and oil for u temp zone

Hard to say..
The best wat to tell is take the inside door panel off to see what is going on.
Could be a brace snapped and the window fell off the track.. Or a part of the linkage broke..
