Question about 2000 Toyota Camry
Don't know if this is the same problem, but the key for my 98 Camry has to be replaced every few years. You can verify whether or not this is your problem if you have a spare key that hasn't been used as much. If the spare key works, take it to a hardware store and get a couple of new keys made. I don't know why this happens, it just does.
