Question about Mitsubishi Galant
The vibration is probably caused by warped brake rotors,if you hear metal grinding ,you brake pads are gone and the metal pad backing is scoring the rotors,when you apply the brakes,does your brake pedal vibrate-if so it would be the front rotors-have brakes checked before more damaged is caused

Its most likely time to change those break pads, and shoes, also wouldnt hurt to get an alignment while your at it... hope this helps!
