Does the 1994 freightliner fld daycab have a windshield fluid reservior

possibly the governor is adjusted to allow for this speed.

The switch or its contacts may be stuck .

electrial, most likely relay for the fuelpump/injector

I have a 1999 freightliner day cab. My truck a/c blows cold while idling but blows hot when moving. Could I be having blend door problems? My defrost does not work also.

pull the right side kick panel off under the glove box. the washer fluid tube cracks behind the panel and it drains into the vehicle. you will need some vacuum tubing to repair the line.

When you press to squirt, do you hear any sound? if you do there are 3 easy things you can do.

1. Some of the windshield wiper reserviors, ( plastic bottles ), need a minimumlevel of fluid to operate, so, make sure you fill up your reservior.

If that doesn't help;
2. There is a very small hose that runs from the reservior to the pump, pull it off of the pump end, very carefully, and have someone hit the squirter.

If fluid comes through the hose;
3. Take a very small paper clip, straighten one end out, and push it into the ports that the water shoots out of to squirt the windshield.
Sometimes wax or debree can clogg these very little holes.

remove air intake unit from radiator crossmember. The entire reservoir will lift straight up. Two pumps are attached. One for the windshield, one for rear glass. Carefully remove fluid lines and disconnect electrical plugs.

The windshield washer pump is part of the windshield wash reservior.
There is an electrical connector located on the bottom of the reservior.
That is the pump .
If the pump is not in the reservior. I would just trace the washer fluid lines from the sprayer on the vehicle back to the pump. The lines just might lead back to the reservior for the windshield wash solution. Then you will have confirmed the pump is in the reservior.

You may have to get a new reservior. The pump might not be seperate item, I am not 100% sure on that.

I also would double check the fuses and any relays related to the washer pump.

Finally, I would check the washer switch if you replace the pump and still is not working .
