Engine on a 1993 toyota corolla starts but after running for a while if turned off have to wait some time to start it

There may be something floating around in the fuel tank that blocks the fuel sock. Stopping allows it to move gain so the engine will start again.

If changing the battery does not solve problem, or only solves it until the battery dies then have the alternator tested. I have noticed on several occasions with a couple of my vehicles that at times of very high moisture in the air they do not stay running, once the humidity goes down they are fine.

This problem is caused by a leaking head gasket most times I have run into it.

Could be vapor lock, or air lock/bubble. First make sure the coolant is topped off, never do this when the car is hot! Take off the radiator cap and poor in anti-freeze, replace cap, now start the vehicle COLD remove cap and pour in more anti freeze if needed. When the engine runs it will **** anti-freeze(coolant) and therefore you may need to pour in a little more. Now wait until the car is hot and check for heat. If you have ever heard a gargling sound or bubbling when you turn your car off, this is a sign of low coolant and or air lock. If you still do not have heat, make sure your coolant lines by the engine are connected as well as any electrical wires going to your temp control valve located between your coolant hoses where coolant runs through it. If you still do not have heat, your water pump may be failing, how ever if your engine does not overheat, then do not replace it. Lastly there is a control valve that opens and closes a flap door to allow/block heat. If this controller failed then you will need to have it replaced.

ya it can turn off by itself ,its will be hard to start the engine ,because the head has gone so its burn,this will make the compression in the cylinder chamber leaks,so its hard to start it

Automatic choke stuck on.Replace it the car is running to ritch.

Possible weak alternator output or weak battery.

can y tell me what enigne size ?

try cleaning the start injector or replacing it this will fix your problem

If your engine is turning quicker than before it means no compresion. remove the spark plugs hold your finger on each of the holes. I it does not force your finger the valves are bent.
