01800 - Light Switch (E1): Implausible Signal.

'implausible signal'. As usual all these things are controlled by the Body Control Module. Check all the connection on that new switch. If that checks out, you need an auto electrician with a PRO GRADE scan tool computer to see why the signal on the computer network is failing. A basic scan tool can't do this.

2014 VW Jetta TDI; low beams stopped working. High beams, DRL, parking lights are all working fine. Swapped headlight switch, didn't fix but all other lights still works fine. Please help!

Some ideas here. It may be an issue in the headlights control module.

The motor may be moving, but the attached arm to the actuator could be broken, fell off, etc. You will need to open remove the door panel to see exactly whats going on.
