The gas to used is on a tag on the compressor
Talk with a ac specialist shop as r134A has been replaced with another gas for the later models and it has a lot to do with the oil in use in the system

How much freon goes in a 2008 Ford explorer

It uses R134a, and the capacity depends upon whether or not the vehicle has rear air conditioning. There should be a sticker by the blower to let you know.

2008 expidition won't start with remote - works everything else

I don't know what system you have but I have to assume one of the safety features that cancels the remote start function must be active. Some systems have a way to find the trigger, but you did not include enough information to move to the next step.

Ac fuse location number for 2008 crown victoria

Hello! There are many fuses involved...Since I do not know if your vehicle is equipped with automatic temperature control or manual, whether the compressor clutch pulls or if the system has the correct amount of R134A; I'll give you a list of fuses involved....The Battery Junction Box is under the hood and the Central Junction Box is inside the vehicle....In the BJB check fuses # 11, 21, 101 and 102....In the CJB check fuses #8 and 15...If all the fuses are good buy a bottle of R134A with a gauge attached and check the level of refrigerant in the system...If the system is full, fuses are OK, I would then suspect a faulty component and would troubleshoot from that point....

I have a 1992 ford e150 club wagon with the 5.0 engine. What type of refrigerant do i use?

If your system has not been converted then R12, if it has then R134A, to tell the difference the connectors both high and low side are larger on R134A systems. Hope this helps.

No AC refrigerant in 1995 E250

The compressor has a valve, it lets out the old freon and this is where you charge with new freon. The truck should have a label under the hood possibly on top of grille. It will tell you what freon to use. You don't want to the wrong one. There are 2 types of freon. There is the older R22 that is for 94 and older vehicles, and R134A which is for the newer vehicles. You will have to look on your label, or as part store which kind. I believe it will be R134A

Dont know were the port is to charge my air on 1999 for expiditio

there are two lines under the hood from the compressor, the one that is located in the larger of the two lines is the charging port, you say your charging nipple doesn't fit on either? are u using R134 refridgerant charging adapters? they are very large in comparison to the older R12 refridgerent system which was phased out in 1993.
