Question about 2004 BMW 5 Series
My 2004 BMW X5 starts perfecty in the morning, but when I turn off the engine and let it sit for 20 min the engine won't start. I have to push the gas pedal and then the car will turn on. It passed all diagnositic tests with flying colors cause no one at BMW could reproduce the problem. This is a daily occurence, every single time I turn on the engine except in the AM.
I have a simmilar problem.
The diesel injector is most likely leaking. Diagnistics should show, but a leak test is more acurate. If you find out that one or two injector are leaking, i would change the all in one go. I changed 2 and 2 in 8 months.

Check the map sensor and the idle speed sensor. check the fuel pressure at the engine. check all fuse and relay for proper operation
