Question about 2001 Volkswagen Beetle

2001 VW Beetle just suddently lost power steering. No noises, no warning, no ideas what happened. From time left point A - drove about 8 miles to point B...and when nearly home steering was just not working.

Did you check the fluid. wont work if empty.

The flashing is telling you that the engine is mis-firing, the dealer will run a test to determine the cylinder that is mis-firing, chances are it is something simple

2001 VW Beetle Will not start


Hi.
Check the heavy duty cables from the battery to the starter motor and solenoid and also the battery earthing (grounding?) - there terminals could be corroded / burned.
