Question about 1989 Jeep Comanche

1 Answer

Hi, i have a 92 jeep comanche, with turn signal problems. the left side works fine. the right works to, but flashes fast like there is a bulb out, but theres not, and it also makes the front left corner light flash as well. when i turn the headlights on and the right blinker, it stays lit and doesnt flash. i also noticed when i press in the brake pedal, my dash lights come on and the light on the 4wheel selector. please help me. all bulbs have been checked.

That is a sign of a bad bulb, flashing fast. Check that rear bulb.

My left turn signal goes too fast when i want to make a left turn but my right turn signal is fine... how do i make the left one normal again?

Replace the burned out bulb. It is flashing fast to alert you that bulb is burnt out. Turn on the side that works properly & note all bulbs flashing in front, rear & side. Most likely there is at least 1 burnt out on the other side.

Left turn signal flashes way too fast. front and rear bulbs are lighting so it is not a bulb. the right one is fine and the same bulbs are lighting on that side. are there two flash relays? what else would...

I have exactly the same problem on the same molel car 2001 Accura 3.2CL , could this be a relay problem? The problem is, let me repeat, "Left turn signal flashes way too fast. front and rear, bulbs are are good and lighting so it is not a bulb. the right side is fine and the same bulbs are lighting on that side .....". (This is my question rather than an answer, I hope this will help to find a solution)

Signal light blinking too fast

I just had that problem with my jeep cherokee and either your bulb has burned out or it is burning out. Time to replace it. Turn the signal light lever on the side that's flashing fast, get out of the vehicle and look at the front and back signal lights and replace the one that isn't blinking...hope this helps.

Signal lights dont work when breaking

No,this is not normal, this normal when the emergency flashers are on,but not the turn signals.Check the bulbs(all of them)in the rear tail light assembleys. If you can not tell which bulbs are bad, replace them all.Does this vehicle have a trailer light plug?If it does,it could be in it.After the bulb replacement(look at bulbs in your hand to see if filiments are burned)replace the turn signal flasher. To find it turn key on,and left or right turn signal on,and listen, and feel for it under dash around the steering column.

Jeep - right turnsignal won't flash

Probably a bad ground on your front right signal, or a bad bulb. Try switching the right with the left, and see if the problem stays in the same place, or goes with the bulb.

Turn signals flashing rapidly

This fast flash is caused by a burnt out bulb in the front or rear.
