Bosch oven fan will not turn off

I have a HBL542AUC Bosch oven that after I cook something and turn off, the fan oven that blows air out into my kitchen will not shut off. The only way to turn it off is to turn off the fuse for a little while and then it'll shut off. Not to mention, if I'm no bake setting the fan will always blow out?

Please clarify this statement, as I'm not sure I understand...... "Not to mention, if I'm no bake setting the fan will always blow out?" As for the fan not shutting off. These are made with fans that run to help cool it off. It SHOULD shut off on its own when it reaches a certain temperature. It is normal that it runs for awhile after using the oven. Hope this helps some. Good luck!

SOURCE: 1998 Volvo S70 2.0L Air conditioner not working correctly

This may be one or two different problems. One could be the climate control unit itself. Surprisingly the problem with the air not changing the source will likely be remedied by a reprogramming by a Volvo dealer. Defrost is the delfault outlet if there is a problem with that system. As for the dial not having detents and the cold instead of hot air in the pass side, that could be programming, a disconnect with the heater door for the passenger side or it could be the control unit. 98 is a difficult year to diagnose and the dealer is likely the only one who can properly diagnose this car. The download at the dealer is an inexpensive fix. If there is a mechanical problem within the air system that could prove more costly. I'm not sure how much the control unit for the climate control system, but there are usually quite a few on ebay. Good luck and I would suggest visiting the dealer first for this one as it is the least expensive fix and could very well be the only problem.

SOURCE: no air or heat blowing from vents

Are you sure the controls you bought is good? Only a few things it can be. Control panel, Blower fan, and fuse. One of those are the problem. Cauld use a jumper wire to send power to the fan and see if fan cmes on. If it does then the fan is indeed good, then go and check and make sure power is on both sides of the fuse. then check the panel. could be bad. Panel sends signal to turn fan on and off. Good luck if need further help let me know, i will try to help ya. I am all about saving money.

SOURCE: Volvo S70 A/C only blowing cold on 5th (highest) setting

My guess would be that the resistor block located in side of air duct between blower fan and evaporatorbox has burnt out one or two resistor coils and requires replacing or repair.I have never seen Volvo A/c but would expect this to be the problem. The block is located in the airstream to keep it cool .By moving your setting switch you are selecting differing resistance coils (or a combination of same) thus with failure lose various speeds.

SOURCE: fan blowing while car is off

If the A/C knob is not set to 0 at the time ignition was off, the fan could run for a little and then off itself.

I am replaceing my existing o2 sensor with a bosch oe smartlink universal sensor. the existing wires are brown/yellow, gray, pink/black. and green. how do I wire the new sensor to the old wires?

you need the factory color code and the bosch color codes.
then wire per that. there is no other way. (universal)
that is the penalty for not using a PNP sensors, plug and play.
do not mess up,wiring the 1 heater to the CELL + wire
risks blowing out the senor or ECU. a $500 error.

here a list. 89-98 list.
first the bosch list ,with comments. my 91 , just and example.
http://www.fixkick.com/oxy-sensor/bosch-pinout.JPG

all bosch unversals sensors have a paper inside,
and is very hard to read and understand.
my guess is it fails german translations.....
no biggy
your car is a 4 wire sensor.
on my cars 96 , the heater wires are non polar so are much easier. lets do them first.
the bosch color is.white, on my car its blk.
so i wired, bosch white to my cars black. x2
bosch gray is sensor ground, (special) wired to cars white wire.
every year, suzuki changes wire colors, not reading the FSM is FAIL.
and last my Bosch CELL+ pin is black and wires to my cars blue.
O2 are like battery CELLS, and are Polar.
Suzuki changed the blue color like a drunk sailor spends money.
a royal PITA. that is. LOL !

the for sure solution is to look it up in the FSM.
for all wire, find your blue, and win !

see the 9 times suzuki changes here, prior to 2004

http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/OxyGen_sensor_help.html

did they change in 2006, ? Ill never know, as Suzuki is bust here.
nor will i pop for $15 to find out. When my Suz, dies, that be the end.
btw 2: the sensor colors on any suzuki are "NCA". FSM drawings.
no color assigned.
the colors mentioned are HARNESS colors in the sensor side.
suzuki uses many different brands sensors and colors, or reserves the right to do so at anytime. Bosch, NGK, Delphi, etc.
tricky huh? thus the pages , linked.
back in 1996 they should have set ISO standards but did not....

i hope that is not confusing.
but in a nut shell.
1: grab bosch sheet,
2: grab the car schematic, for ECU. (fsm, or alldata, or mitchells)
there is your answer.
no man as the blue wire color on all car or all suzuki;'s
not yet. tell my yours and ill update my records.

Spark plug gap for ford focus 1.6 with bosch hr78nx plugs

Dear god. none of you sound like you know what your doing.
The Bosch HR 78 NX spark plug is a super 4 plug that has 4 outer ground electrodes and uses surface air gap technology.

There is no need to mess about gapping the plugs as they are Factory pre-gapped electrodes.
  • Higher ignition reliability thanks to eight possible ignition gaps
  • Self-cleaning thanks to surface air-gap technology
  • Increased thermal range: up to three times as many cold starts possible as with conventional spark plugs
So don't mess about gapping your super 4 Bosch, Just fit them.

I have 05 chevy equinox. Air conditioner works and blows cool when traveling down highway. In town it blows warmer air. Had freon checked. They emptied it out, refilled it, and checked for leaks. All was...

No you have to change for a exchange unit ,best unit to buy is a bosch replacement a touch dearer but they are the best and last a long time ,with a diode out running to earth the battery will discharge overnight .now for the AC well the problem here is the coolong fan -- should run as soon as AC is turned which is why its cold when moving as the air flow is passing through but when stopped the heat isnt being dissapated by the front rad so the AC builds up pressure and the safety switch is turning it off .

Fan Blower Makes noise

Sounds like the fan needs to be replaced. But first, to check for obstructions, remove the carpet liner from the underside of the dash on the passenger side and you'll see the blower motor under the dash held in with three screws. If there's something obvious blocking it, remove it and reinstall the fan. If there's nothing blocking it, then you'll probably need to replace the fan. Any auto parts store, Rockauto.com or E-Bay will have the correct fan for your Grand Prix.

Truck turns over but won't start 87 gmc 4x4

Well, if it was running prior to your replacing the plugs, then somewhere you went amiss. Check the firing order. If when you crank the engine over and it pops and backfires then you have a few plug wires mixed up. Other than that the other item to check would be the rotor button in side the cap. Is it lined up correctly or broken? Good luck.
