Camry 2007 repalced battery , but was put in wrong, now won't start, no lights, power windows not working but the dash lights work, could it be a fuse?

Check your fusible link.It is tied into positive battery cable, goes to starter and alternator,it is burnt up.

I have 2007 camry push button start. The battery and alternator have both been replaced and still will not start unless jumped off. any ideas?

The starter may be the problem. It may be drawing to much power and requires a boost to make it work.

I have a 2007 Toyota camry with push button start. I tried to turn the car on this morning and the radio and gps turned on but the car wouldn't start. The message display says check vsc. I checked my gas...

VSC stands for vehicle stability control. That has nothing to do with the gas cap.

Maybe, the starter or battery is weak or bad. Or, the starter to battery connection at the battery is bad.

Try to disconnect the battery, clean and wire brush the connections, and reinstall the connections to see if the car will start up after that.

Note, that batteries have an average life expectancy of 3 years, typically. I see that your car is 3 years old, so if it had the original battery, it's possible it needs to be tested at a battery retailer to see if it is alright.

Good luck on this repair.

I have a 2007 Silverado WT (new bodystyle) 4.8 V8 and has 30,000 miles on it. Check engine light came on and it was PO171 and PO174 (system to lean Bank 1 and 2). The problems are trys to die when I start...

If you are having a lean indication, and miss-fire,then the fuel pressure is most likely the problem, change the fuel filter,if this does not help, then have the fuel pressure checked, the fuel pump maybe weak,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

2000 Toyota Camry did not start on first try - yellow symbol

Hard to say what it is without testing so I 'm gonna give you a list of things you or a repair shop can check out:
Battery, battery cables, ignition switch, neutral safety switch, starter relay, starter.
MAKE SURE TIMING BELT DIDN'T BREAK OR SKIP A TOOTH,STARTER current draw test , coil, coil pack, ignition module( only if no spark at the plug wires) fuel pump relay, fuel pump, injector module and drives, fuel pressure regulator.

This year Camry is a good year. Very little problems except annoying EVAP system. TIMING BELT SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 60K . ALONG WITH CAM, CRANK, OIL PUMP SEALS AND WATER PUMP.
I recommend taking your car to Sears Auto Center
they are pretty good with this kind of work.

Starter will not turn over motor. Battery = o.k. Terminals at battery = o.k. Interior lights = good no dimming when start attempted. I cannot locate the starter to check the connections! Any suggestions...

Yep, check the neutral saftey switch on the transmission & find the starter. When you find the starter, tap on it with a hammer or something while someone trys to start it. If it starts, replace the starter.

Starting problem

Hello LostLynne.
The most common issue is a bad contact in the starter solenoid.
This solenoid is part of the starter assembly and makes the high amperage battery to starter connection
When you hear the click the solenoid is activating but not completing the battery to starter contact.
If this is an original starter or been on for a long time I would suggest changing the starter assembly.
Also in your under hood fuse/relay panel there is a smaller relay that activates the starter solenoid that should be checked before replacing the starter. Although less common for that to happen it does occasionally cause a problem. Easy to replace too.
If you have further questions please ask me.

Install remote/key into socket.  Push and hold trip button on instrument cluster with all doors shut.  Push start button one time for key position one while holding trip button and count to five.  keep holding trip button and hit start button to key position two where all the warning lites come on the instrument cluster while still holding trip button.  Count to around ten and triangular warning lite should flash. Release button and remove key and then start engine.  May take a few attempts to reset this lite.

I tried starting the 2007 toyato camry. The lights comes on but the car doesn`t start it instead has the clicking sound once you turn the keys. It does this everytime and after about about the 4th time...

how old is the battery? frist battery needs to be load tested if it passes, then check starter draw, if the starter is drawing to many amps it will bring the battery down. trun the headlamps on and attempted to start the vech if the headlamps draw down very dim may have starter problem but remember the battery and its connection have to be in good working order before you can try this test .
