You may need to have a scanner to check what is the error detected by the car's ECU. If you can still have the car run, you may want to try removing the battery terminal for 2 mins to clear it out. Check if you still have the error. Otherwise you need to have the computer scanned.

it means you have a catalytic damaging misfire going on. Its a big one. You should feel it. Get it looked at before you toast the cat and set a code for a destroyed cat

take it to a automotive parts house like autozone and have them check the o.b.d. codes
