Question about 1994 Chrysler Concorde

I have a 1994 concord and it shakes when in gear when sitting still.

Could be a miss fire..
Try a tune up - to inclue --
Plugs
Wires
Fuel filter
Air filter
Oxygen sensor
PCV valve

This is not a lot of money,, not to dificult to do and could very well smooth things out..

If not - you have eliminated these things as posibilities and did not spend too much..

Bad motor mounts,transmission mounts, or miss fire(s) in engine.

You either have a TCM (Transmission Control Module) issus, or the electronics in the transmission has failed.

Have your transmission oil filter changed;
it is located under the transmission pan
The oil is what makes the transmission shift
When you shut off the engine it stops the transmission pump then when you start up again the transmission shifts until the filter clogs again

u have a leaking head gasket, the fan is on because there is air pockets in the cooling system caused by combustion gases leaking in, the rough run is coolant getting into the cylinders.

Hard down shift


you might call another shop and ask them about a detenete cable that helps the tranny shift..it wouldnt take a complete rebuild to fix a hard downshift if its something as simple as a detente cable

Possible vacuum leak at EGR or PCV, or even at the intake plenum gasket is where I'd check first...accordianman
