Does the 2004 Trail Blazer (6 cyl.) have a radiator drain plug?

Most likely. You'll have to look underneath the radiator and check on both sides along the bottom. You're looking for whats called a pepcock, and this should only take a few counter clockwise turns to start draining. If you found it, simply turn it counter clockwise until its drained. Once drained, re tighten it and make sure that it does not leak when you fill it back up. The o ring on those things tend to tear rather easily, so try to be careful.

Yes but you may need to remove the lower shield. There is a small one under that on the passenger side I believe could be on the driver side. Its been a while since i've been under one.

Recheck the firing order; 1-6-5-4-3-2

On the distributor passenger side radiator to fire wall. 2-4-6-coil
On the distributor drivers side radiator to fire wall. 3-1-5

Cylinder passenger side radiator to fire wall. 2-4-6
Cylinder drivers side radiator to fire wall. 1-3-5

Good luck and also check the distributor cap again for proper seating.

Where are the spark plungs located on a 2004 trail blazer

ON TOP of Engine there 6 Coil Units the SPARK PLUGS are under them, and they Require a 10mm Socket or Wrench to remove them, once the BOLT is out PULL OFF the COIL and there is a Rubber BOOT that ALSO Requires Replacment Along With The Spark Plugs.
the Spark Plugs are DOWN INSIDE the HOLE.

Car will not go above 2900 rpm s

sounds like the transmission is not shiffting properly which could be a speed sensor. First thing to do is check your fluid level and make sure its not low that could cause it also. Do not overfill that is as harmful as being too low.
