Question about 2002 Ford Escape

1 Answer

The horn goes off for no reason, it continues to run even after the keys have been removed, sometimes after you shut it off you can still hear a blower motor running and the ford dealler says there is nothing wrong with it.

After replacing my battery in my 1998 ford taurus the horn continually blares. I have tried putting the key in the ignition and turning it to on, horn keeps blaring and car won't stop. Also

Your horn relay may be shorting out, making your horn operate all the time. Have a look at your relays. You might find the horn relay is the same as another relay, If it is, try swapping relays with a known good one, and see if the horn operates normally. If so, get a new relay. Good-Day!

What your hearing is the factory alarm not the horn. Connect the battery when the alarm sounds go to the drivers door lock with the key and lock and unlock the door until the alarm goes off . Then reinstall the fuse for the horn.,
