Try this: With the parking brake set firmly, put the car in gear and keep one foot firmly on the brake while accelerating (you won't go anywhere...)
If the motor cuts out while this is attempted, replace your ignition/spark plug wires.

How do I replace a water pump for my 1986 Ford Bronco I need to know if I need to torque the bolts to a certain spec and what is the easiest and best way to access the part on the engine for repair.

either size engine, 302 or 351 all accessorys need to come off. alternator steering pump, ac compressor and fan of course . i have never torqued mind down after installing a new one, i have just made sure they are nice and snug, not putting a lot of umph on it but tigher than hand tight.

My 1986 ford bronco cuts out at about 3/4 throttle acts like it has no power this started about 2 weeks ago. before that the throttle stuck open and I had to climb up and adjust the air cleaner it seemed...

I had a simular problem recently. The cause of my problem was mainly the MAP Sensor located on the firewall i then also replaced the catalatic convertor and muffler and the problem went away. Hope this helps and best of luck to you

'86 Bronco with a 302, won't start, possible fuel problem?

have you check fuel filter it my cluged.
check fuel pressure with gauge and compare result with service manual. if pressure is to low you may need new fuel pump.

Oil pressure good at startup, after driving 10 or 15 min it gose down and out when stop. but will go up when givin gas. dose not knock or tap. its 86 ford bronco 302

try changing the oil pump sending unit relay. if that doesnt work have your oil pressure checked to make sure your oil pump is fine
