Check the rest of your vacuum lines. I had the same problem and one line that trace around the passenger side to the front of the engine had broken off.

The a/c only blows out of the top of the dash. it does not blow through front or feet area. i was told it is a hose, vacuum, and switching mechanism. under dash or hood. i am just hoping that it is...

your air direction control is vacuum operated. either the vac line came unhooked, or it has a leak in it. trace the vac line, and replace it. should work.

AC/Heater blower fan stops blowing air into the cabin when I accelerate.

Usually a vac leak. I would check for a leak in the HVAC control system and the line thru the firewall to the engine.

Lot53yahoo.commy jeep x 2005 a/c blows out the defrost ,did work fine then just went bad . i cant find the actuator loc or is it a vac leak ??

You've got a vac leak...somewhere.
Unfortunately, you'll have to make time to find it.
When you lose enough vacuum...the "blend door's" default position is to blow out the defrost.

I've looked for vac leaks with starting fluid, or Barryman B12.
While engine is running spray hose connections...when engine "surges"...that's where the leak is.

Hope this helps...

2002 explorer a/c blowing out of defrost and not dash vents

The direction of the air flow (dash/defrost/floor, etc) is controlled by vacuum going to the switch. There may be a vac line that didn't get connected or was damaged when they put the replacement engine in it. Check the lines on the firewall to make sure nothing is loose.

My 2001 wangler. Fan or Blower does not work heat is and the AC do but the fan does not work to blow it out. One where is fan and how do I replace it. Thanks Dave

Check the fan/blower switch. Mine shorted-out and blower did not work for years but it was merely a switch problem.

2005 Wrangler X a/c only blows from defroster

Check under your hood for a loose or leaking vac line , The A/C system on your jeep uses manifold vac to move the air mix doors and with no vac the air mix door will move into the defrost position. Find your vac leak and that will fix your problem.

The heat in my 1992 Jeep Wangler is not working.

The only reason it won't blow hot air is because the water is not getting to the heater core. Check to see if you have a heater control valve in one of the two lines to the heater core. If so check to be sure that is is opening and closing. If it won't open then you get no water flow in to the heater core.
